the comfortable alpine chalet between heaven and earth

Our alpine chalet “Almjuwel”, which was built in 2014, combines comfort and luxury. It is situated in the middle of the “Werfenwenger” mountains, which offers a stunning nature and relaxing atmosphere. At 1500 m above the sea level, directly above the chairlift station “Stussing-Bischling”, you can feel the silence of the mountains, the power of nature and you are able to enjoy the unique panorama view over the Northern Salzburg Alps.
Entering the modern-alpine furnished rooms, you will be surrounded by a lovely scent of alpine wood. The chalet-apartment offers a cozy, spacious living area, two bed rooms, a roomy vestibule, a bath room and a separate toilet. Further the apartment comes with a TV, modern kitchenware, a masonry heater and a Finnish sauna. You can enjoy your holiday to the fullest. The “Almjuwel” is bookable for a minimum of one week. In summer you can reach the cottage by car, in winter only by skis. The luggage will be brought to the chalet and collected on departure.

The apartment is completely equipped with toaster, drip coffee maker, Nespresso coffee machine, water boiler, dish washer, induction stoven and traditional stoven heated by wood. On the separate balcony you can enjoy the breathtaking panorama view. The chalet apartment offers accomodation for 4 to 6 people. Beth clothes, towels and wood for the stoven are provided.
Since autumn 2015 the “Almjuwel” offers a Finnish sauna as well, which can be used in Summer and in Winter.

The “Almjuwel” with the luxury equipped chalet apartment,
truly is the gem of the epic scenery in the Werfenwenger Alps and our alpine pesture.
In summertime the area offers numerous hiking tracks in different degrees of difficulty
encouraging you to discover the natural beauty of the mountains.
In wintertime the “Almjuwel” is situated directly above the lower terminus of the chairlift “Strussing-Bischling”. Which means on one hand it offers silence and relaxation and on the other hand easy access to the family ski area including 25 kilometers of slopes. Who doesn’t feel like catering for themselves, is more than welcome to enjoy a beautiful lunch or dinner at the alpine restaurant, which is situated 100 meters from the cabin.
The “Almjuwel” is bookable in summer as well as in winter. In wintertime the cabin is only reachable for experienced skiers.
The last cable car rides at 04:00 pm and has to be taken to reach the hut. The ski passes have to be bought previously, which is not included in the chalet price. The luggage will be delivered and collected by Sepp with a motor sledge. In summertime the cabin is reachable by car.
