Fun in the snow for everyone

Werfenweng is located at the sun-kissed side of the mountain chain “Tennengebirge”. The mountain village and family ski destination offers 25 kilometres of best prepared ski slopes in different degrees of difficulty for the whole family. Even the children are having fun at the ski school learning the right technique of skiing without any fear. Important to mention is IKI´s Kids Snowpark- which is over 8 acres in size. But there are more leisure activities in winter. Well prepared cross-country ski runs and winter hiking paths inviting to enjoy the mountainous winterwonderland. Different tobbogan runs encourage for rapid sledging rides.
Also in winter the “Bischling” counts to one of the most popular mountains for paragliders and hang-gliders. And as well as in summer professional paragliders offer tandem flights for brave guests, which want to feel the incomparable feeling of flying by themselves.
SKIING IN WERFENWENG

From the Zaglauhof you can get very easy up to the mountain Bischling by the cable car Ikarus – the main starting point of the lovely ski resortWerfenweng, which offers 29 kilometres of well-groomed ski slopes in different levels of difficulty, some steep, challenging runs for experts and also flatter, easy slopes. Especially for children of all ages IKI´s Kids Snowpark is a very popular hot spot.
IKI´s KIDS SNOWPARK

This paradise for smaller and bigger children extense over 8 hectares. At different slopes and pacoures of difficulty the children learn the art of skiing in a playful way. Fun in the snow for the whole family!
CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING

On Werfenweng also offers a well-groomed cross-countrs ski trail networt. On over 20 kilometres prepared slopes you can enjoy the nature and do some fitness for body and soul. Cross-Country equippment can be rented at the sports-rental directly next to the Zaglauhof.
HORSE-SLEDGE DRIVING

Romantic moments can be collected during a horse-drawn sleigh ride through the Werfenwenger winterwonderland. However it ia also fun for the whole family. There are special slopes for tobogganing, so you can escape the traffic and noise and enjoy the untouched nature up close.
TOBBOGANING

When conditions are optimal for tobboganing also the grown-ups get young again. Whether on the Köpfl-Flitzer, on the children’s slide or on the toboggan run at Gasthof Tennenblick, fun for the whole family is guaranteed.
PARAGLIDING

Also in winter the take-off and the landing area aren´t really quiet. Flying in the snowy winter wonderland is balm for the soul. There are tandem flights also offered in Winter.
